Merchandise Exchange Policy
Sizing and Returns
Dogs are more like us than you might think. Especially when it comes to sizing. We, at MOONDOGGIE have discovered that we can line up a dozen Basset Hounds, or Yorkies, or Salukis and not one will have the same measurements as the one to his left or to her right. Nature or nurture (too much nurturing, perhaps?) we aren’t sure. What we are sure of is that if you don’t know your dog’s measurements – the probability of a collar or a sweater, or even a bed being the right size when you receive it goes way, way, way down.
Three measurements help us fit your pup properly:

NECK (measure closely around your dog’s neck – DO NOT add to the measurement for comfort, we will take care of that),

TOPLINE (from the collar to the base of the tail along your dog’s back, and
-
GIRTH (completely around your dog, at the widest part of the chest or tummy).
Put those measurements into your dog’s PROFILE for us, and we will gladly assist you in making sure that the item(s) you purchase will fit your dog properly. However, even with all efforts being made, mistakes do occur.
In such cases, we, at MOONDOGGIE will do our very best to exchange something that is too big or too small for the proper size, as long as the item is returned in the condition it was received (tags intact, no signs of wear or use), and within 30 days of ship date, and process your return for a full store credit at www.moondoggieinc.com, equal to the dollar amount of the item(s) originally purchased, minus the shipping and handling charges. Items returned after that 30 day window will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
All Other Returns
We LOVE all our products at Moondoggie, and we believe that you will too! However, the same policy holds true for any item you are not completely satisfied with. Simply return your unused item(s) within 30 days, for an exchange or an on-line store credit.
All on-line credits will expire one year from the issue date. On-line credits cannot not be transferred to others.
Please be absolutely sure that you are returning an item in new and unused condition.
Moondoggie reserves the right to refuse any return at our discretion. Sorry, there are no exchanges or on-line credits issued on custom orders.
Defective Merchandise
MOONDOGGIE guarantees all products against defects. Defective items may be returned for on-line credit or replacement within 10 business days of receipt.
How to Make a Return
To make getting a return back to us as simple as possible, just repack it in the same box, if possible, with your packing slip.
Write the necessary return information on the back of the packing slip.
Please be sure to ship your item(s) by insured, traceable mail (e.g. FedEx, UPS, USPS Parcel Post). Retain your receipt for your safety.
Moondoggie is not responsible for items lost or otherwise damaged in transit.
We do not accept COD returns.
Please allow 15 days to process your returns.
